Jason Penrod joined the firm as an associate in late 2004. Jason is originally from Pendleton, New York, and is a Niagara University Honors Graduate.

While earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Spanish from Niagara University, Jason was honored as the Sertoma Award Recipient for academic excellence in political science. Upon graduation, Jason ran for public office and applied for law school.

Excited to escape the lake-effect snow, Jason attended Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, Tennessee, where he was a member of the Federalist Society and Moot Court Board. While in law school he successfully argued cases on behalf of battered women as part of Vanderbilt Law's Domestic Violence Clinic.

Jason quickly become an important member of the Lake Wales community. He is Past President of the Lake Wales Chamber of Commerce and the Lake Wales Rotary Club. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the the Lake Wales Senior Center, the Lake Wales Care Center and the Lake Wales Library. Jason also enjoys assisting in the revitalization efforts of our Historic Downtown area.

Focusing primarily on elder law, Jason concentrates his practice on Medicaid planning. Additionally, Jason is an avid golfer, a member of the Lake Wales Country Club, and a huge fan of sports (especially the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres).
