Jason Penrod joined the law firm of Weaver, McClendon & Penrod in 2004, and soon after developed an Elder Law practice. Jason’s practice focuses on long-term care planning in conjunction with clients’ estate plans. Specifically, Jason assists families with asset protection as they prepare to qualify for Medicaid benefits and Veterans Administration benefits. He speaks frequently on Elder Law issues and writes the column “From the Attorney’s Desk” for the Lake Wales News. In the community, Jason recently served as president of the Lake Wales Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club. He enjoys golfing and maintains hope for that elusive championship for his hometown Buffalo Bills and Sabres.
